The Path From Hell

My heart says yes
My head says no
and I'm left wondering
which way to go.

Faith is evidence
of things unseen
but to this reality
what does it all mean?

I stand here waiting
for a clear sign to appear
listening in silence
His voice to hear.

Maybe he will tell me
what it is I'm to be
or maybe he is leaving
my destiny up to me.

Which is wiser
I cannot tell
All I know is I must
follow closely, follow well.

Who knows?
Perhaps time will tell
my heart and head
which path leads from hell.
